Best of British week: Emma Cook

One of my favourite online shops is Brittique, which showcases the latest fashion and accessories from Britain’s newest and hottest young designers. The current line-up includes the likes of Camila Staerk, Hannah Marshall, Osman Yousefzada and Gil Carvalho.

Emma Cook is another one of their shining stars, and her latest “Suzie Cruise” SS/08 collection arrived instore today. I love the retro nautical detailing throughout this collection, such as the embroidered ship’s wheel cut-out neckline and the cardigan appliquéd with the classic anchor motif.

If you want more of Emma Cook, don’t miss her fantastic current collection for Topshop, which features her signature appliqué details and a fun zebra print in sweet-shop hues.

I really like the colours she’s used, and the white dress in particular.
