The thing I love the most is the textural use of the fabric and thread – none of that beautifully ‘finished’ milarkey. More a feathery, characterful spontaneity.

Super Sweet. I have heard of people using these at weddings on top of their cake instead of those naff little bride and groom figures.

Frank’s a great little shop, they stock loads of my fav artists works. Loving the standing birds, they’re so delicate looking.

Delicious, Kate and Ali: wow, so Frank has left quite an impression, then. It’s been on my must-visit list for over a year now (ever since the Guardian covered it) so it was good to finally make it to Whitstable.
