  1. Shopping in Sydney: VFNO

    Vogue Fashion's Night Out Sydney

Have you been to Vogue Fashion’s Night Out before? I went to the very first one when I was living in London, and had a grand old time shop-hopping, champagne sipping, canape-nibbling and gallivanting around the West End in some kind of retail frenzy. Fast forward five years and one major move, baby and two houses later, I’m heading into the city for my first Sydney VFNO. I’m taking my friend Bel along as we’re both in need of a little cheer and a girls’ night out.

There are hundreds of stores, brands and retailers getting involved in the festivities, so to help you navigate your way through the shops, I’ve come up with my top 10 Sydney VFNO must-dos. Click on each brand name link for all the VFNO details.

    1. Dinosaur Designs
Meet designer Louise Olsen at the Strand Arcade store, as she launches the Dinosaur Designs/Toni Maticevski collaboration. Enjoy a glass of Champagne, and when you spend $150 you’ll receive a complimentary Wishbone Bangle valued at $55 (one per customer).

There will be a Crystal Head vodka bar, a Miss Chu pop-up, Raw Bar, Pepe Saya with their “posh chips”, Rach & Ruby NY Deli Sandwiches, and Serendipity ice-cream. I might just stop here.

Tell me: are you going to Vogue Fashion’s Night Out? What city are you in and what are your plans?

    • Ceri

Have a great night you two! xx

      • weebirdy

Oh thanks Ceri… but wouldn’t you know it? I end up crook and Bel had other plans. We are doing it next week. Minus the shop bubbles and freebies. Oh well. X

        • Jenbug

Make sure you treat yourselves some bubbly anyway 😉

    • CateB

I couldn’t get in there – I turn into a pumpkin after 7pm, but managed to take advantage of online discounts 😉

      • weebirdy

I didn’t make it in the end… I was sick in bed and my friend couldn’t make it. I can relate to post-7pm pumpkins, though. X

    • Jennifer

Love Dinosaur Designs! What a fun night.

      • weebirdy

It looked like it was fun! X

    • Jenbug

Looks great! I am a forever Dinosaur Designs fan – STILL wear a bangle I was given over 10 years ago. And I highly recommend Dermalogica, my wedding beautician started me on it and I haven’t looked back. Bit unfair putting a giant macaroon on there though…Yum!

      • weebirdy

Haha, the giant macaron is coming to get you! I used to use Dermalogica all the time… back in the days of full-time employment! X

        • Jenbug

I know what you mean…I’ve just ran out of my moisturiser and need an alternative. x
