About Wee Birdy
Hello, I’m Rebecca Lowrey Boyd and I founded Wee Birdy in the summer of 2007 in London.
Wee Birdy is my field guide to design, style and secret finds. It’s also a place where I record my latest travels and adventures, along with the best tips from friends and ‘people in the know’.
Wee Birdy was named one of the ‘Top 100 Blogs in the World’ by The Sunday Times (UK), and made Times Online’s ‘Best 50 Design Blogs in the World’.
It’s also featured in some rather lovely magazines around the world, including (my favourite) British Vogue’s Secret Address Book.
I live in Sydney in a treehouse (alright, it’s a ‘70s pole house in the middle of bushburbia) with my husband and five-year-old son. One day, I would really love to have a dog, chickens and a pet alpaca.
I’m passionate about mid-century design and architecture, modernism, good books, nice frocks and my garden (let’s not mention the brush turkeys).
Welcome to Wee Birdy!
