  1. A week of flowers: Chelsea Flower Show

It's flower city this week in London, with the opening of the Chelsea Flower Show today. I'm going for the very first time on Saturday, along with my parents who are flying in from Sydney (via Copenhagen).

Saturday is the last day of the show, and it actually sounds a wee bit scary as from 4pm the display flowers are flogged to the public, when all manner of flower shit-fights ensue. I may retire to the Pimm's stand (with a bunch of strangled peonies) around this time.

In the meantime, check out the miniature garden I made for Oola Moola (complete with step-by-step tutorial courtesy of Cath Kidston. I'm afraid it would be disqualified by the Chelsea Flower Show, where kitsch ornamental animals (and gnomes) are most definitely not acceptable.
