Today's frock comes from & Other Stories, the latest fashion brand to emerge from the H&M group, with stores in London and other major cities in Europe. As a fan of H&M's big sister brand COS, it's not surprising that I'm quite taken by & Other Stories, which is just over a year old and caters to a more up-market shopper. The prices aren't quite as low as COS, but considering the quality, fabrics and level of detail in the individual pieces, the prices are really very good. I've had this dress bookmarked for the past couple of months, for various reasons. I like the softly tailored shirt-dress effect and feminine silhouette which falls to the knees. The pointy collar and drape-effect detail in the skirt adds interest without distracting from the overall elegant look.

It also comes in a fresh white print version.

Unfortunately the brand doesn't offer shopping or shipping to Australia, and there's no word from the H&M camp on whether it will be opening stores in Australia. Hopefully this changes soon. The first option to pop up when you search "& Other Stories" on Google's Australian home page is "& other stories australia". Tell me: do you shop at & Other Stories? And is this dress a yay or a nay?
