  1. 10 clever ways to use plants in bathrooms

Just steer clear of plants which require drier conditions, like cactuses. Sometimes it just takes one leafy plant to add colour, texture and a sense of lushness to a room full of plain white tiles. Look for nooks and crannies that would make ideal habitats for small plants. Scout out spots behind taps and on top of toilets. Short on bench space? Look up and hang greenery from the ceiling. Here, we've rounded up 10 beautiful bathrooms with clever use of gorgeous greenery. Get ready to be inspired... and get your green thumb on. 1. We also love the contrast between the organic, natural greenery of the plants against the graphic tiles. Photo via Hearth. Elkhorns love the moisture-rich environment of bathrooms.
